The hand-sewn method for creating bound buttonholes is fairly easy. It is more accurate and better looking than machine bound buttonholes, which can be a little chunky. This method was practiced in Cristobal Balenciaga’s atelier. Instructor will provide scrap wool fabric. Student will need to bring smaller ruler, chalk, thread, hand sewing needle, and scissors.

Please note this class is on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Franklin. There is no elevator access, only stairs.
