The hand-sewn method for creating bound buttonholes is fairly easy. It is more accurate and better looking than machine bound buttonholes, which can be a little chunky. This method was practiced in Cristobal Balenciaga’s atelier. Instructor will provide scrap wool fabric. Student will need to bring a small ruler, chalk, thread, hand sewing needle, and scissors.

Please note this class is on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Franklin. There is no elevator access, only stairs.
