Using the Olivia pattern from Edgewater Avenue students will make their own custom fit swimsuit. Carly will explain how to properly cut and sew activewear and swimwear fabric, and how to properly install the elastic. Students will need to purchase the pattern and bring the swimsuit and lining material, as well as their own sewing machine to the class. A supply list and a recommended vendor list for fabric will be provided upon registration. All students will be making the same suit, as the focus of the class is to learn the best techniques for sewing fabric with high stretch content. Once you have taken this class, you have will have the confidence and skills to tackle more personalized activewear and swimwear projects on your own. Students may pay Carly directly upon arrival.

*Please note the class is on the second level of a historic building, that does not have elevator access, only stairs. Carly and I will assist all students in carrying machines and supplies up and down the stairs.
