Muslin Fitting
July 12 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
The class is focused on fitting a muslin (or garment) you have sewn together. Other students may observe as I fit each person individually. This will allow everyone to increase their knowledge of identifying common fit issues and how to fix them. In the last thirty minutes of the class, I will explain and demonstrate how to properly prepare, mark, cut and baste your fashion fabric. Students will need a pencil or pen to mark on their muslin, and safety pins for their fitting, and hand sewing needles and thread. Please do not bring your sewing machine. I will have one available if you need it.
The class is on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Franklin. There is no elevator access, only stairs.
